Hardware requirements

Minimum hardware requirements to run PageTypes CMS platform:

  • CPU: One or more processors with a recommended minimum speed of 550 megahertz (MHz).
  • Memory: 1 GB of RAM. More memory generally leads to better performance.
  • Disk space: 100 MB of free hard disk space.

Software requirements

You must ensure that you have the following software installed before running PageTypes platform installer.
  • Operating system: Windows 2003 Server or higher.
  • Web server: IIS 6.0 or higher.
  • Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express or higher.
  • ASP.NET Framework: 4.0 or higher.
  • SMTP server: SMTP server is used to send email notifications form your website.
  • Browser: IE 7 and above, Firefox 3.5 and above, Safari 4.0 and above.

Connectivity requirements

If you are installing PageTypes platform on a web server that is behind firewall or other secured network, please ensure http access to *.pagetypes.com. PageTypes installer needs to connect to PageTypes repository server and download your installation files. The installed website also needs pagetypes.com connection in order to verify your license information.
